You stand in the main square of Errang. The village elder has just shaken your hand and paid an advance for the werewolf—and immediately pulled his hand back, seeing something on your cloak. You look down: a dark spot of dried blood that wasn't there this morning. The alarm bells begin to toll on the bell tower—the fourth child this week has gone missing.
Errang is a border village near the Whispering Forest, which locals avoid even by day. The elder, Halvig, recently buried his wife and for some reason didn't call a priest. Lights have been seen in the forest. On the outskirts is a boarded-up mill that no one remembers working.
Full moon in three nights. After that, the replacement becomes irreversible.
